ABOUT US

Pegboard is a collaborative creative concept in semi-regularly sunny Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its co-founders are photographer Lauren Krysti and creative director Melanie Haroldson. What do we do? Hmm. Well. A lot. We combine bang-up expertise and the just-right resources to create content that’s just as impactful as it is inspiring. We do this through photography, styling, art direction, production, prop styling and by making all-too frequent trips to the nearest coffee shop. Because, while we’re highly productive, caffeine never hurts.

Lauren Krysti

Lauren’s been a go-to for all things beauty, fashion, kids, motion, food, phew, we could go on, but you get the gist. Like us, people love to work with her. And gawk as she doesn’t even wobble on the tightrope of making sure every single detail to every single shot is juuust right, but making all of it look and feel like a cinch. Which, for the record, it’s definitely not. But good for her for almost having us fooled.

Creative Director / Stylist

Melanie Haroldson

Part art director, part designer, total creative does-it-all-er. Melanie is one of those rare, fabled left-brain creatives—she gets her jollies organizing information and solving tricky creative puzzles just as much as she loves directing concepts and shots that look, like, really, really beautiful. And when she’s not doing that, she helms the curation of props and sets, manages our marketing, figures out our legal mumbo jumbo (as well as our finance mumbo jumbo), makes clients feel like royalty, directs post-production and occasionally sleeps.
